Am I eligible to receive childcare vouchers?

Parents and guardians may pay for any registered childcare with childcare vouchers.

Registered childcare includes:

• Nannies
• Childminders
• Nurseries
• Pre-schools
• Day care
• Before and after school care
• Activity Holidays
• Sitter services (Scotland)
• Activity based care e.g. sports clubs and drama coaching
• Online Tutoring
• Holiday Clubs
• Boarding element of independent school fees (this can also include out of hours extra care, providing this is invoiced separately)

Registration bodies include:

• Ofsted (England)
• Care Inspectorate (Scotland)
• Care and Social Services Inspectorate (Wales)
• Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (Northern Ireland)
